How to Throw the Perfect Bachelorette in Las Vegas

Bachelorette parties are the ultimate girls night out consisting of dancing, celebrating the bride and living up the last moment with her as an unmarried woman. The stakes are high to create a weekend she’ll never forget; one of the top destinations in the US for a eventful bachelorette weekend is in the famous city that never sleeps and the iconic term “What Happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”. We threw the most legendary bachelorette in Vegas, and this is what we believe is the ultimate guide to a perfect 3 day bachelorette in Las Vegas.

1. Get snacks and water for your hotel

A little sleepy but very excited, 8 girls and one bride-to-be start Friday morning boarding the first flight at 9am. Awaiting us is a long black limo outside filled to the brim with champagne and disco lights to kickstart the best girls trip we could ask for. We decided to take a pit stop at CVS to fill up on late night snacks, gallons of water and a couple bottles of liquor to save paying $15 for a pack of M&Ms, $7 a for Dasani water bottle and $300 for a handle. It’s easily the smartest decision we made to wake up to water and pre-game while we got ready instead of calling the front desk for room service every hour. Dancing with our new goodies, we arrive at our destination.

Bursting with energy, we all climb out of the limo, give the bell man our bags and walk the red carpet inside to Nomad Hotel to check-in. The front desk welcomes us warmly, upgrades a couple of our rooms for free and chauffeurs us to the 29th floor where we will all have rooms next to each other. Barely 12:30pm, we have enough time to slip into our bikinis and hit the rooftop- the calm before the storm.

2. Book hair/makeup artist and photographer

We spent Friday afternoon ordering cocktails poolside, taking our first pictures of the weekend with our amazing photographer, Emilynn Rose, that we hired for the weekend to capture every moment. She would be there for every photo op we had including IG content, capturing moments and surprises that lied ahead and other memories we’d otherwise forget. Late afternoon arrived all too quickly, and one-by-one we took our turn with the hair and make-up artists we brought with us to feel our most confident version of ourselves. Ashley and Susan took 30-45 minutes per girl as we sipped on champagne and mixed drinks, typically doing some nice waves, smokey eyes and a glossy lip for the night that lied ahead.

3. Tickets for Thunder Down Under

We chose an all black theme for Friday, except the bride-to-be in white of course! We took to the casino hallways to show off our dresses from Revolve and get a nice picture before it all got blurry. From there our limo awaited us outside to the hottest male show in Vegas (the guys are so fine), Thunder Down Under! This is a strip tease entertainment show that involves dancing on stage or directly on top of you, interactive highlights where they drag girls onto stage to show them how they’d take them to bed and many other moments I don't want to spoil! Let's just say we all came thinking this would be a corny dance show, and we all left a little bit hot and bothered.

4. Book a karaoke room at On The Record

From Thunder Down Under, the girls and I headed to Mama Rabbit at the Nomad Hotel for another cocktail, gambling and a table to pregame. The live music was a blast and the drinks were amazing! Mostly tipsy if not already drunk, we stumbled our way to On The Record upstairs which turned out to be a speakeasy with neon lit private karaoke rooms. A couple of girls at this point had dropped like flies, so we left them safely in their rooms, sang our hearts out and enjoyed the end of night one. Pacing ourselves, we climbed under the covers by 3am, enjoyed some Flaming Hot Cheetos, pizza and Oreos and fell asleep.

5. Brunch at Lavo

Bellagio

Waking up still fresh and excited, we all joined in the bride’s suite to laugh at who got the most drunk and who did what. The memories were already developing quickly and the group was having a ball. I mean, when I say we came to have fun, we weren’t kidding.

Hungry and looking forward to another event filled day, we arrived at Lavo for a party brunch that we were really not prepared for- but ended up being the coolest, craziest 2pm drink filled brunch I’ve ever had. We skipped the mimosas and went straight to tequila shots if you feel me. The rooms energy woke me up along with their avocado toast, seafood pasta and lobster Benedict with a side of champagne. This party quickly turned into a full blown rager filled with dancing on top of tables, hair flipping and wild dance moves. To top off this perfect bachelorette brunch, we surprised the bride with a feature on their on-stage screen with the hottest photo of her and “congrats” written perfectly across the front- to say it lightly, Lavo was a blast!

6. Take naps

Already 5pm I shuffled the girls from the dark dance floor, opening the doors to the lobby and exposing a very bright afternoon. Reality hit us; we were drunk. After capturing a couple last moments in their front display, I called us an SUV and we vibed to the music on the way back to our hotel. It was time for round two, but it was clear we all needed a cat nap prior to the main night of the weekend! We each pushed the blinds closed in our rooms and let dreams take over, although this time they weren’t better than reality.

A short hour later, I found myself in the makeup chair once again thinking how blessed we were to have a team to make us look pretty. I don’t think I would’ve had the energy at this point to pull myself together. We were truly wondering if we’d make it. I looked over at the bride and could see written all across her face she was still drunk- bread and pasta at dinner were mandatory!

7. Late dinner and drinks at Mayfair Supperclub

Slowly coming to life, we looked better than we felt heading to our last evening in Vegas. One-by-one we climbed one last time into the limo and sped off to our reservation awaiting at Bellagio. Our energy changed the second we stepped into the new hot spot, Mayfair Supperclub. We were told this was the #1 place for dinner and I could see why- a friend of the owner told me they had a 30million dollar budget for this gem and it really showed.

The burlesque style dinner started with a classy bar overflowing with specialty cocktails; we were led behind it to find a beautiful open layout with delicate finishes. Everything from the tile, to the tall ceilings, to the decorations dripped style and my eyes were in awe. As we were seated, my eyes wandered from the stage to the outside where it overlooked the Bellagio fountain. You could see the strip and nothing beat this stunning view! All night long we watched extremely talented dancers perform nonstop as we sipped on Lemon Drop Martinis and ate oyster shooters. The vibe was insane and I can’t explain how wonderful it was. This is definitely a #1 restaurant for a very good reason. Fun fact: The live music sang inside is the same music you would hear outside viewing the fountain, and the water show is choreographed to Mayfair’s live music. How cool!

8. Grab a VIP table at Sapphire

Filled with good food and energy, the group finally started to get back on level 10. Our next stop was a wild Saturday night at Sapphire, Vegas’ best male and female strip club. A party bus awaited us outside Bellagio, giving us 20 minutes to have the bride show us how she would rock the pole in private. Dying of laughter, one-by-one we took our turn to dance in the party bus and bust out some moves. The door swung open, abruptly ending our dance session and we were led inside to Sapphire strip club.

I got $250 in 1’s and walked inside to a VIP table directly in front of the stage. Wasting no time and giggling every step of the way, I booked an on stage dance for the bride. They gave me a little questionnaire of facts about her, $60 cash and we howled watching the stripper flip her every which way on the neon lit stage. One-by-one we grabbed our own personal lap dance where we could take them on the side of the room for $30 or get a private for $250. I couldn’t do this alone, so I grabbed another girl and did a double lap dance that made it less awkward.

9. XS Nightclub

Leaving Sapphire left us feeling accomplished that we had a blast in Vegas, but the weekend wasn’t over yet. To finish the night, we grabbed a table at XS and danced until we could no longer stand. The evening ended with the sun rising and our heels in our hands making the last couple steps to our rooms. Closing the blinds to forget that its daytime, we crashed in our cozy hotel beds at Nomad Hotel one last time.

10. Book a recovery spa day at Park MGM

12pm rolled around all too quickly, and the group chat was blowing up with videos from the party bus to the Mayfair Supperclub and everything in-between. We met in the brides suite to continue the conversation and relive the nights craziness, making a mutual agreement that what happened in Vegas, will definitely stay in Vegas. Hungover and tired, the final day on our vacation we took to the Park MGM spa for a rejuvenating time with the girls. The heated stone chairs, steam room and large jacuzzi called our names and hit the spot. Dehydrated and exhausted, we sipped on juices and laid back while the spa did wonders.

As we packed our bags, we also packed memories of a lifetime with an unforgettable squad. The weekend was paradise and exactly what I would envision as a perfect bachelorette party- and I know the bride agrees! As her best friends, this last weekend before she becomes Mrs. was one we’ll never forget, and we are so grateful to be a part of this new chapter. And THAT is how you throw a bachelorette party in Vegas!
